The latest from Drone Cage

This is the absolute latest product from Drone Cage, hot off the press. The all singing, all dancing protective cage for the DJI Mavic Air 2.

Once again, as with the Mavic 2 Dual Enterprise, we managed to get hold of a Mavic Air 2 a short while before it was officially launched in the UK, thanks to some really great people. This enabled us to finalise the last piece of the jigsaw, the part of our cage system that interacts with the Mavic Air 2, and get it installed into a prototype air frame that we had designed some time previously, back when we first had the official specs of the Mavic Air 2.

Secretive indoor flight tests were conducted almost 24hrs a day for a week, with constant subtle revisions to various parts here and there, until we had a product that lived up to our expectations. All of this enabled us to launch our Drone Cage on the same day as the official UK release for the DJI Mavic Air 2.

Sporting aerospace grade carbon fibre, all new poly-carbonate fittings and state of the art 3d printed parts, this Drone Cage is our most advanced to date.

The new design has already been put to work commercially. We’ve had reports of flights in lift shafts, as well as solar panel inspections all being conducted safely thanks to Drone Cage.
