Our registered design utilises ultra-lightweight aerospace grade carbon fibre, with precision 3D printed components to offer maximum rigidity and impact strength throughout the air frame.
Unlike most cages on the market, non of our air frames use any form of components fixed under tension. This is to ensure maximum safety to both your UAV device and the environment around it whilst fully utilising the tensile properties of the materials used.
The intelligent frame design gives the operator the option to retain some of the safety features embedded in DJI’s most commercially operated UAVs. This not only increases the safety factor, but improves the ability to achieve perfect results.
unrivalled field of view
Our Drone Cage is designed to support professional use of the drone’s camera. The field of view is unobstructed and the negligible change in flight characteristics means that the drone’s handling is not compromised. This enables the operator to concentrate on the task at hand.
The latest version of Drone Cage is now payload compatible. This allows each air frame to be equipped with additional HD camera equipment, lighting equipment or bespoke payloads.

Our precision engineered quick release drone mounting systems, purposely designed and rigorously tested, ensures excellent balance in harmony with your UAV. This allows for uncompromising flight and handling characteristics.
Multiple hours of flight testing have been performed during the design phase to ensure the optimum protection whilst retaining the UAV’s familiar excellent handling features.
The Drone Cage air frame is designed in such a way to ensure a high level of protection should a total loss collision occur. The structure is purposely designed to take the majority of the impact causing minimal damage to the UAV, or the data collected.
Environmental impact
At Drone Cage our responsibility to the environment forms a key focus point in any of our designs. This is why we took the step to produce all of our 3D printed components in a biodegradable material, derived from sustainably grown plants. We have also chosen to be supplied electricity by a 100% green energy supplier. We love that we are able to take these steps to reduce our carbon footprint and continue to work on reducing our carbon footprint further.
